Built over 400 years ago, the Sandwirt inn gained recognition as the birthplace of Andreas Hofer, who led Tyrolean resistance movements in the early 1800s.
The establishment maintains its heritage through the MuseumPasseier association, preserving local traditions and sharing stories of the Passeiertal Valley.
Visitors can access the inn from Tuesday to Sunday between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM, with continuous hot meal service available from 11:30 AM.
The kitchen staff prepares both traditional Tyrolean specialties and Mediterranean dishes, adapting their service hours for groups of six or more guests.
