Villa Giulia stands on three floors with a central body featuring rusticated lower bands and two extending wings that mirror the main architectural elements.
Count Pietro Venini commissioned the construction of this residence at the end of the 18th century, completing it in 1806 as a dedication to his wife Giulia.
The villa includes the Salone d'Enea, a ballroom extending across two floors, decorated with frescoes depicting classical antiquity themes by Galli da Bibbiena.
Visitors reach the villa by climbing an 800-step stone staircase from the Loppia docks, leading to a formal Italian garden with a central fountain.
The strategic position and engineering work allow views of both branches of Lake Como, creating a double perspective from the property.
