Saitama Municipal Urawa Museum

The Saitama Municipal Urawa Museum stands within Kita-Urawa Park, featuring modern Western and Japanese art across multiple exhibition spaces with natural lighting.

Since its establishment in April 1959, the museum has maintained a collection of documents and artifacts that represent the historical development of Saitama City.

The museum displays works from international artists like Picasso, Gauguin, and Monet alongside exhibitions from local Japanese artists, creating a diverse artistic presentation.

Located near JR Kita-Urawa Station, the museum charges 200 yen for adults and 100 yen for students, while children under junior high school age enter free.

The building's classical Western architecture, modeled after the Hoshokaku college, appears on the Urawa Reds soccer team's official logo.
