Heiwa Park Aqua Tower

Heiwa Park Aqua Tower is a 50-meter-tall structure in Nagoya with three levels that serves as both an observation point and a water storage facility. The building offers views of the park from above while displaying information about how the city manages its water.

The tower was designed by Niwa Eiji Architects & Engineers and opened to the public in 2002. Its creation showed how cities were thinking about turning everyday infrastructure into spaces for public use.
