Fukakita Park, Public park in Daito, Osaka Prefecture, Japan
Fukakita Park is a large public park in Daitō, Osaka, featuring tennis courts, soccer fields, and baseball diamonds alongside various play equipment. The grounds also include barbecue areas and designated spaces for dogs.
The park was designed as a flood control facility to temporarily hold excess water during heavy rainfall. This function protects residential areas nearby from flooding damage.
The park features three distinct themed play areas: one with space-themed equipment, another with dinosaur-inspired elements, and a third with fortress-style climbing structures.
The grounds are open during daylight hours, and the management office operates from 9:00 to 17:00. Parking is available for approximately 690 vehicles.
The grounds host weekly Saturday events called Park Run where participants can walk or run five kilometers through the area. These regular gatherings bring people together to enjoy both movement and the park's facilities.
