Toyohashi General Sports Park is a large sports facility spanning 21 hectares (52 acres) with multiple venues spread across the grounds. It features a gymnasium, soccer field, baseball field, and the Aquarena swimming facility with multiple pools.

The park opened its doors in March 1999 as the original complex took shape. The addition of the Aquarena facility in May 2006 expanded what was available, bringing year-round water recreation to the grounds.

The gymnasium serves as a gathering place for basketball games, volleyball matches, and live performances that bring the community together. It reflects how locals use shared spaces for both sport and entertainment.

The facility has ample parking distributed across different areas near the soccer and baseball fields. Visitors should plan their arrival according to which sports area they want to visit, as the grounds cover a large space.

The Aquarena shifts between an indoor swimming pool during warmer months and an ice skating rink when temperatures drop, offering year-round water and ice activities. This dual function makes it an unusual recreational destination that changes with the seasons.
