J-World Tokyo, Indoor anime theme park in Higashi-Ikebukuro, Japan
J-World Tokyo was an entertainment facility inside Sunshine City that offered attractions, restaurants, and shops featuring popular manga characters from the Shonen Jump series. The venue combined various experience stations and retail areas around these well-known stories.
The facility opened in 2013 and operated for 6 years as a dedicated manga experience center. It closed in 2019 when the concept was discontinued.
The park brought characters from manga stories to life through interactive experiences where visitors could train like in Dragon Ball or join theatrical adventures from One Piece.
Visitors could participate in various activity stations and enjoy meals in themed restaurant areas aimed at manga fans. The facility was located within a shopping complex, which offered convenient access along with other stores.
The venue featured specialized restaurants serving dishes inspired directly by manga stories, including noodle varieties and themed desserts. Such food-focused experiences were a central part of the visitor concept.
