The park region maintains a deep connection to traditional fishing and agricultural practices that sustained local communities for generations around Lake Hinuma.

The annual Hinuma Hydrangea Festival, established in 2010, displays 10,000 hydrangea plants and includes stage performances, games, and local food vendors.

The camping grounds operate from April 25 to October 31, offering 250 tent sites and 56 spaces with AC power outlets for automotive camping.

Lake Hinuma changes its appearance with tidal movements, creating different landscapes throughout the day as seawater mixes with freshwater.
