Pałac Tyszkiewiczów w Landwarowie, Gothic Revival palace in Lentvaris, Lithuania.

Pałac Tyszkiewiczów w Landwarowie is a Gothic Revival château in Lentvaris, Lithuania, with a facade inspired by Tudor architecture and a tall tower at its southwest corner. A two-story wing reaches toward the adjacent lake, placing the building in close contact with the water.

The palace was built between 1861 and 1869 by architect Friedrich Gustaw von Schacht, commissioned by Count Józef Tyszkiewicz. Foundations from 1596 were incorporated into the new structure, tying the building to a much older presence on the site.

The Tyszkiewicz family was one of the most powerful noble clans in the Polish-Lithuanian world during the 19th century, and this estate was one of their showpieces. Walking through the park today, visitors can still spot the layout of the original garden design in the arrangement of old trees.

The palace is privately owned, so it is worth checking access conditions before visiting. The surrounding park has natural pathways that make it easy to walk around, and the view of the building from the lakeside is generally accessible.

The lake next to the palace is not natural but was formed by an artificial embankment that also serves as the foundation of the building itself. This means the palace stands directly on top of a dam, which is an unusual structural choice rarely seen in estate architecture.
