Church of the Annunciation, Lentvaris

The Church of the Annunciation features red brick construction with a massive central tower, tall windows, and rounded arches throughout its structure.

Construction began after 1905 when local authorities granted permission, replacing an initial temporary wooden structure that served the community.

The church contains an extensive collection of early 20th-century murals and sgraffito decorations, completed during the resource-scarce period of World War II.

Religious services take place in Lithuanian and Polish languages, while a Latin Requiem Mass occurs on the first Monday of each month.

The church design draws inspiration from the 15th-century Santa Maria delle Grazie Church in Milan, commissioned by Count Tyszkiewicz who admired Italian architecture.
