Jurbarkas Manor

Jurbarkas Manor is a manor complex on the western edge of Jurbarkas town featuring two preserved wings and restored columns from the central palace. The grounds spread across thirty hectares and include a park with diverse tree species and pathways along the Mituva River.

The estate was granted to the Vasilchikov princes by Tsar Nicholas I in 1846, and they constructed the manor complex that stood for decades. Following political changes, the complex was dismantled in 1918.

The northern wing houses the Jurbarkas Land Museum, showcasing local history and traditions. The southern wing serves as an information center with exhibition spaces for visitors.

The manor complex sits on the edge of town and is easily reached on foot or by car. The park grounds with their pathways are open to walk through, making it a pleasant place to spend time outdoors in any season.

The former Orthodox chapel within the complex now serves as a concert hall. This transformation shows how the historical building gained new purpose and continues to bring people together for cultural events.
