Museum of Romans Suta and Aleksandra Belcova

The museum displays paintings, sketches, and personal items in a fifth-floor apartment that belonged to artists Romans Suta and Aleksandra Belcova.

The museum opened in 2008 following the efforts of Tatjana Suta, the artists' daughter, who preserved their collection and transformed their former residence.

Romans Suta created film sets and porcelain designs while Aleksandra Belcova specialized in portrait paintings during Latvia's 1920s and 1930s art period.

The museum collection includes fifty artworks, offers guided tours, and provides educational programs for students to learn about Latvian art history.

Visitors can explore the preserved living space with period furniture that shows how these two influential Latvian artists lived and worked together.
