Gertrudes ielas teatris

The Gertrudes ielas teatris features a Soviet-era assembly hall with a stage, maintaining its original architectural elements from the 1950s construction period.

Initially built in 1954 as the Repair and Building Administration No. 2, the structure transformed into a theatre following Latvia's independence in 1991.

The theatre produces three to four new shows each season, presenting over 100 events annually with performers from theatre, dance, and music disciplines.

Located at Gertrudes street 101a, the venue offers rental opportunities for productions and maintains a residency program for artistic development.

The theatre has generated 124 original works and hosted 1626 performances, incorporating the talents of 557 artists throughout its operational history.
