Sybrandy's Speelpark

Sybrandy's Speelpark is an amusement park in De Fryske Marren with more than 40 play structures and rides for children. The facility includes attractions such as the Nautic Jet, climbing frames, spinning rides, and covered play areas for different weather conditions.

The park was relocated in 2020 to a new location near the IJsselmeer, about four kilometers from its original site. This move allowed all attractions and facilities to be consolidated at a modern location.

The rotating disc, a fundamental element of Gaasterland playgrounds since the 1930s, maintains its position as a central attraction in the park.

The park is designed for children aged 3 to 13 years, with special packages for school groups that combine entrance fees, meals, and refreshments. It is wise to allow enough time to explore different attractions and check current opening times before visiting.

A barefoot trail with different natural textures connects a nature area to the main attractions of the park. This path allows children to explore different ground surfaces and natural elements as they move between play zones.
