Sint Lambertuskerk, Haaren

Sint Lambertuskerk is a Catholic worship space in Haaren featuring neo-Gothic design and a prominent tower that rises above the surrounding area. The interior divides into three naves with decorative brick star vaults and tracery patterns running throughout the structure.

Construction took place between 1912 and 1914 under architect Wilhelmus Theodorus van Aalst. The building replaced an earlier neoclassical structure that was destroyed by fire in 1911.

The interior displays paintings by Jos ten Horn from 1940 inspired by biblical texts, alongside stained glass windows created by I. Menken in 1914. These artworks shape how light and color move through the prayer space throughout the day.

The church is located at Monseigneur Bekkersplein 4 and serves the Catholic community with regular services open to visitors. It is best to check ahead for specific visiting times, as these may vary seasonally or for special services.

The tower rises through four distinct levels, each decorated with blind arches and alcoves cut into the brick. An octagonal spire tops the structure, held aloft by copper pinnacles that catch the light from different angles.
