Middelburg Town Hall, Gothic town hall at Market Square, Middelburg, Netherlands.
The building presents an ornate facade with Gothic windows, red and white shutters, and twenty-five statues depicting counts and countesses of Zeeland.
Construction of this municipal structure began in 1452 under the direction of the Keldermans family from Mechelen and reached completion in 1520.
The main tower, known as Malle Betje, contains a clock that runs perpetually behind the timepiece of the nearby Long Jan tower.
The building functions as a venue for wedding ceremonies and houses facilities of University College Roosevelt since 2004.
The former meat hall section of the building has served as an exhibition space for the SBKM organization since 1980.
