The Dorpskerk features a tower with a nave, side aisles, and northern and southern choir sections, combining elements of cruciform and hall-church designs.
The northern wall contains sections from the 11th century, while the Romanesque brick tower was constructed in the early 13th century.
The church displays two notable stained glass windows: the Moederraam from 1939 by J.H.E. Schilling and De Engelenzang from 1941 by Henri van der Stok.
The PKN congregation of Wassenaar maintains the church, which holds regular services on Sundays and Christian holidays at Plein 3.
The church houses an organ crafted by Albertus Antoni Hinsz in 1769, with Van Dam adding the Rugwerk section in 1792.
