Het Wooldhuis

Het Wooldhuis is a residential villa at Boulevard Evertsen with curved architectural lines and decorative tile panels, topped with a red slate roof. The property includes a garden, garden wall, and two additional service residences called Waailust and De Zandlooper.

The villa was built between 1931 and 1932 by architect Dirk Roosenburg for Vlissingen's mayor C.A. van Woelderen, whose recent inheritance enabled the ambitious project. This construction marked a shift in residential design approaches in the Netherlands during that era.
