Kleilânsmole

Kleilânsmole is a grondzeiler windmill on a low foundation located near the Frisian village of Marrum in the Netherlands. The structure features a single post mill design that rotates to face the wind.

The windmill was built to control water levels in the Ferwerderadiel polders and support farming activities. It played a key role in the development of Dutch polder systems that allowed land to be drained and protected.
