CODA Apeldoorn

CODA is a museum and library complex in Apeldoorn housed in the Edifici Hertzberger building, presenting exhibitions of jewelry, paper art, paintings, sculptures, and graphic works across dedicated gallery spaces. The facilities integrate art displays with library collections and archival materials in a single location.

The institution opened in 2003 as an integrated cultural center merging museum, library, and archive services. This combination brought together diverse art forms and information resources in a single unified space.

The museum displays contemporary jewelry and paper art created by artists from the region, across the nation, and around the world. Throughout the year, rotating exhibitions showcase different artistic perspectives and approaches.

The facility is open Tuesday through Friday from 10:00 to 17:30, Saturday from 10:00 to 17:00, and Sunday from 11:00 to 17:00. Visitors should verify opening hours before arriving, as schedules may vary on holidays.

The ExperienceLab provides interactive zones where visitors engage with digital tools to explore connections between art, literature, and history. These hands-on spaces allow exploration of artworks and textual materials in novel ways.
