Labyrinth Boekelo, Sensory experience park in Boekelo, Netherlands.
Labyrinth Boekelo was an amusement park with several mazes of different designs, set within natural landscapes featuring bridges, waterfalls, rock formations, and ponds. The various pathways and elements offered multiple routes through the grounds.
The park was established in 2002 as Labyrinth der Zinnen and was acquired in 2004 by Zodiac Zoos, leading to plans for animal exhibits. This takeover marked a turning point in the park's direction.
The park served as a place where visitors could test their senses, particularly through activities that trained touch and orientation. The different mazes invited people to discover and use their own perceptual abilities in a playful way.
The park offered children's parties and provided free parking for all visitors. Guests should wear comfortable clothing to walk easily through the different mazes.
The Touch Labyrinth was a special attraction where visitors navigated using only closed eyes and tactile sensations. The Intuition Labyrinth similarly challenged guests by relying solely on inner instincts to find their way through.
