The Nicolaaskerk displays a three-nave layout on a cruciform plan with side aisles that extend toward the transept, featuring decorative brick architecture.
Constructed in 1927 by architect Jan Stuyt, this church replaced an earlier neo-Gothic structure from 1858 that previously occupied the same location.
The church contains stained glass windows from 1936 depicting religious figures including Vincentius a Paulo and Elizabeth of Hungary alongside New Testament scenes.

The tower entrance features a relief of Christ with the text 'Domus Dei Porta Coeli' and includes a round stair turret flanked by two polygonal chapels.
