The Norwegian Wild Reindeer Foundation uses this facility for educational programs that teach visitors about the regional ecosystem and wildlife.

Visitors reach the pavilion via a 1.5-kilometer marked trail from the parking area, passing slate stone exhibitions along the graveled path.

The wooden core structure was manufactured using computer-controlled milling technology before assembly through traditional Norwegian log building methods.
