Kykkelsrud hydroelectric power station

The Kykkelsrud power station harnesses water flow from the Glomma basin through Kaplan turbines to generate electrical power with a capacity of 225 megawatts.

The facility began operations in 1900 as one of Norway's early hydroelectric installations, serving the region's power needs until its decommission in 2008.
