The university represents educational ambitions for Nepal's eastern region. It brings together students from rural and urban areas, creating a meeting place where different communities come to study and build their futures.
The main campus is located in Sundarharaincha with adequate space for academic facilities and laboratories. Affiliated campuses allow students from distant areas to pursue programs locally without commuting to a central location.
The faculty of management was among Nepal's first to offer a bachelor's degree in business administration. The engineering school is also the only one in the entire eastern region, opening opportunities in technical fields that were previously unavailable locally.
