Fuyot Springs National Park, National park in Ilagan City, Philippines.
Fuyot Springs National Park is an 819-hectare protected area in the foothills of the Sierra Madre range, featuring limestone caves, waterfalls, and natural springs throughout the landscape. The park contains multiple water sources and cave systems that shape the terrain.
The area received official protection on October 8, 1938, becoming one of the earliest protected zones in the Cagayan Valley. This early designation reflected the region's importance for preserving natural resources.
The caves within the park contain evidence of settlements by the Agta and Dumagat, indigenous groups who lived in this region for generations. These remains show how communities used this land long before it became protected.
Visitors can reach Ilagan City by bus or van, then take a tricycle to the park entrance where swimming areas and hiking trails are available. The facilities allow for water activities and walking through the terrain at your own pace.
The park contains three accessible limestone caves with distinct names and characteristics: Main Cave, Altar Cave, and Adventure Cave. Each displays different rock formations that make exploring them separate experiences.
