Museo El Deposito

Museo El Deposito spans two floors and contains three main galleries showcasing the development of Manila's water infrastructure through artifacts and multimedia displays.

The museum stands above El Deposito, a Spanish colonial-era underground reservoir that supplied water to 300,000 Manila residents and became a military facility during World War II.

The Resource Center exhibits photographs, artifacts, and scale models that document the evolution of water distribution systems in Philippine society from the 1800s.

Located at Pinaglabanan Street in San Juan, the museum welcomes visitors Tuesday through Sunday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM with free admission.

Visitors can access the underground water reservoir through an adjacent entrance, where they receive hard hats to explore the historic aqueduct system.
