Człuchów is a town in Pomeranian Voivodeship located on an isthmus between two lakes. The settlement serves as an important administrative and regional center in northern Poland.
The settlement was conquered by the Teutonic Knights in 1312, who built a fortress. This stronghold became significant in regional history until the Swedish invasion during the Northern Wars.
