Brenna, Mountain village in Cieszyn County, Poland

Brenna extends across 95.54 square kilometers of land in the Silesian Beskids mountains, with the Brennica River flowing through its center.

The village first appeared in written records in 1490 as part of the Duchy of Teschen, which functioned as a fee of the Kingdom of Bohemia.

The local population includes Silesian Gorals, who maintain their regional identity through the use of the distinct Cieszyn Silesian dialect.

The village administration center operates at an elevation of 420 meters, providing services to a population of over 10,000 residents.
