Szczodre, Village in Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Poland

Szczodre sits 13 kilometers northeast of Wrocław, surrounded by agricultural fields and natural landscapes within the Silesian Lowlands region of Poland.

The settlement, first documented as Palici in 1245, contained a Baroque palace built by Christian Ulrich I of Württemberg that hosted Polish kings Augustus II and III.

The village maintains traditional Polish agricultural practices, with residents following seasonal farming cycles and participating in regional harvest celebrations throughout the year.

Local buses connect Szczodre to Wrocław and neighboring towns, while the village provides basic amenities including a primary school for residents.

The ruins of the former palace, destroyed by SS troops in 1945, remain as physical remnants of the location's connection to European nobility.
