Maków County

Maków County encompasses ten municipalities across 1,064 square kilometers of agricultural landscapes in east-central Poland, including two principal towns: Maków Mazowiecki and Różan.

The county emerged through Poland's local government reforms, officially established on January 1, 1999, as part of the administrative restructuring of Masovian Voivodeship.

Each municipality within the county maintains traditional Polish celebrations throughout the year, featuring regional music performances, folk dances, and local culinary specialties.

The county's administrative center, Maków Mazowiecki, located 73 kilometers north of Warsaw, provides educational facilities, healthcare services, and governmental offices for 45,076 residents.

The territory contains numerous agricultural communities with a population density of 42 people per square kilometer, reflecting the rural character of east-central Polish settlements.
