Krzywy Domek, Postmodern building in Sopot, Poland
The Krzywy Domek features curved walls, undulating windows, and a green roof that creates an appearance of a structure in distortion.
The construction of this 4,000-square-meter structure was completed in 2004 as part of the Rezydent shopping center development project.
Polish architects Szotyńscy and Zaleski designed the building drawing inspiration from illustrations by Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg.
Located at the intersection of Monte Cassino and Morska Streets, the building contains retail stores, restaurants, and entertainment venues.
The structure's unconventional design includes emerald shutters, iridescent glass panels, and a roof adorned with lights visible after sunset.
