St. Mary's Basilica, Gothic Catholic basilica at Market Square in Krakow, Poland.

Red brick walls rise into two distinct towers of 81 and 69 meters, framing the main facade of this fourteenth-century Gothic church.

Built in 1223 over earlier Roman church remains, the structure underwent reconstruction after Tatar invasions during Casimir III's reign.

A trumpeter plays an interrupted melody every hour from the highest tower, continuing a medieval tradition linked to a Mongol invasion.

Entry for prayer remains free, while tourist visits cost 15 zloty, with different opening hours on weekdays and Sundays.

The Veit Stoss altarpiece, measuring 13 meters high and 11 meters wide, displays intricate wooden carvings of biblical scenes.
