Brzeziny County, Administrative district in Łódź Voivodeship, Poland.
Brzeziny County is an administrative district in central Poland covering approximately 358 square kilometers. The area consists of one urban center and four rural municipalities that together form a mixed landscape of towns and villages.
The district was created in 2002 following the restructuring of the northeastern part of Łódź East County. This administrative reform resulted in the establishment of the current municipal divisions in the region.
The territory maintains connections to farming traditions through local events that celebrate regional products and rural crafts. You can notice how agriculture shapes daily life in the smaller settlements across the area.
The area connects well to major transport routes, making it relatively easy to travel to different parts of the district. The administrative center of Brzeziny is located not far from Łódź, the regional capital, so you can reach it conveniently from there.
The administrative territory encompasses five distinct gminas, each with its own local character and administrative structure. This arrangement allows communities to maintain their separate identities while functioning as part of a unified county system.
