Izabelin C, Administrative village in Warsaw West County, Poland
Izabelin C is a village in the Masovian region of Poland, located west of Warsaw, and serves as the seat of Gmina Izabelin. It is a small, mainly residential settlement with a few public buildings that house local government offices.
The village emerged as part of the division of the former Izabelin estate into separate parts, each identified by a letter, during the 20th century. Izabelin C was later chosen as the seat of the local commune during subsequent administrative changes in the region.
Izabelin C sits at the edge of Kampinos National Park, and many people from the surrounding area come here to access the forest trails nearby. The presence of the park shapes how the place feels, giving it a quieter, greener character than most administrative centers.
The village is easily reached from Warsaw by public transport, as it lies just west of the city. Once there, the local government offices and basic services are within easy walking distance of each other.
The letter C in the name is not a random addition but comes from a system used to distinguish the different parts of the former Izabelin estate after it was split up. Several neighboring villages still carry the same root name with different letters, making the area unusual in how its place names are organized.
