St. Nicholas Church in Wysocice, Medieval church in Wysocice, Poland.

St. Nicholas Church in Wysocice is a limestone structure built in Romanesque style with a rectangular chancel, semicircular apse, and a five-story tower. The building preserves its original form with a roughly square nave and thick stone walls throughout.

This building was founded at the end of the 12th century by Iwo Odrowąż and ranks among the oldest stone structures in the area. During the 16th century, it temporarily functioned as a Protestant place of worship before returning to Catholic use.

The entrance features an early 13th-century carved depiction of Christ flanked by two saints. This artwork shows the religious craftsmanship that was valued in medieval times across the region.

The church sits on a gently rising hillside near the Dłubnia river and is easily accessible from the surrounding area. Visitors can approach the building at a leisurely pace to examine the stonework and architectural details up close.

Inside, there is a curved women's gallery with cross vaults, an architectural feature rarely seen in early medieval churches of this scale. A four-sided wall recess once held a Madonna statue, revealing how worshippers at this location honored figures important to their faith.
