Church of the Assumption in Zbąszyń

The Church of the Assumption features a brick construction with elaborate stucco decorations and stands prominently in the center of Zbąszyń at Senatorska 31.

Built between 1742 and 1755 under the direction of architect Karol Marcin Frantz, the church was funded by the Garczyński family who controlled Zbąszyń from 1700.

The interior houses numerous 18th-century altarpieces and decorative elements that represent the Late Baroque period of Polish religious architecture.
