The New Synagogue stands at Juliusza Słowackiego 15, featuring architectural elements of Classical Revival style with detailed exterior decorations and stained glass windows.
Construction of the New Synagogue started in 1910 under architect Stanisław Majerski's direction and finished in 1918, before Nazi forces desecrated it in 1939.
The interior walls and ceiling contained paintings depicting Biblical scenes and motifs from Eretz Israel, reflecting the Jewish community's connection to their heritage.
The building now functions as the Ignacy Krasicki Public Library, making it accessible to visitors interested in examining its architectural characteristics.
Local artist Adolf Bienenstock created the original stained glass windows, incorporating elements of the Young Poland movement into the synagogue's design.
