Aquapark Wrocław, Water park in Wrocław, Poland.
Aquapark Wrocław is an indoor water facility in southwestern Wrocław, open throughout the year. The complex combines lap lanes for swimmers with a slide area and several relaxation zones under one roof.
The facility opened in 2008 as the first large-scale modern water leisure center in the region. A few years later, additional pools and slides were added to meet the growing demand for recreational sports.
The facility maintains a sports education program where local children learn competitive swimming techniques from certified instructors.
The entrance opens early in the morning on weekdays so swimmers can train before work, and stays open until late evening. On weekends, hours begin later and close somewhat earlier.
Some of the pools are filled with saltwater that mimics the density of seawater and makes floating easier. These pools stay warmer than regular chlorinated basins and feel different on the skin.
