The market hall features a two-story structure with a central grand hall and multiple commercial spaces for vendors and local businesses.
The original building, designed by architect Zdzisław Świątkowski, opened in 1929 and underwent reconstruction between 1949 and 1950 following World War II damage.
The facility transformed from Hala Targowa to Hala Kultury in 2021, adding performance spaces, exhibition areas, and meeting rooms for community activities.
The market operates Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, weekends from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, with separate entrances from the bus station and Dworcowa Street.
The renovation project received 9.8 million PLN from the Minister of Culture and National Heritage as part of a conservation initiative to preserve historical architecture.
