Muzeum Edyty Stein w Lublińcu

The Edith Stein Museum occupies the upper floor of the Courant family house, featuring multimedia exhibitions about the life of the German philosopher and Catholic saint.

Founded in 2009, the museum preserves the memory of Edith Stein, who became one of the first female students at the University of Göttingen before her death at Auschwitz-Birkenau.

The museum displays personal letters, photographs, and academic works that demonstrate Edith Stein's progression from philosophy student to Carmelite nun and Catholic saint.

Visitors can explore the museum every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday without admission fees, with guided tours available for groups upon request.

Polish President Bronisław Komorowski visited this cultural institution in January 2012, emphasizing its importance in preserving European intellectual heritage.
