The shelter was established in 2009, adapted from an old highland cottage in the Lesser Poland region. This renovation transformed a traditional mountain structure into a modern refuge for hikers and travelers.
The rooms are named after local stories and heritage, such as Lotnisko, Hindenburg, and ZEPs, reflecting the traditions of the mountain region. These names create a personal connection between guests and the area's character.
Advance reservations are advisable since capacity is limited and use of kitchen facilities is included. The location works well as a destination for day trips or multi-day hiking routes, so arriving early in the day is practical depending on your hiking plan.
A statue of a lost tourist stands between the main building and the storage structure, created by a local artist in 2011. This unusual sculpture humorously captures a common experience in the mountains.
