Ciepłowody Castle, Medieval castle in Ciepłowody, Poland

The castle features a square residential tower and defensive walls, situated near water bodies in the Lower Silesian landscape.

Built around 1400, the fortress served as a residence for Silesian noble families and later the von Sachsen-Weimar-Eisenach princely dynasty.

The castle structure represents medieval Lower Silesian architecture with elements reflecting both military defense and noble residential purposes.

The castle remains are accessible through marked pathways, with parking facilities available in the village of Ciepłowody.

In the 15th century, the castle became the headquarters of knight-robber Jerzy Reibnitz, marking a dark period in its history.
