Leśnica Castle

Leśnica Castle is a Baroque fortress with red-brick walls, rectangular windows, and white decorative details across its symmetrical facade that rises several stories. Corner towers define its outline and create a distinctive profile.

The fortress began in 1132 as a prince's residence and underwent major changes over the centuries. In the early 1600s it was rebuilt as a fortified structure, then transformed in the 1700s into a Baroque palace.

The site takes its name from the surrounding district and became a center for cultural and social gatherings in the 18th century. Today residents and visitors use the spaces for exhibitions and events that enrich community life in the area.
