Palace in Glinka, Palace complex in Glinka, Poland.
The Palace in Glinka is a manor house with an L-shaped floor plan and two-storey structure, topped by a mansard roof. The facades are defined by impressive pilasters and semi-circular arcades.
The building was constructed in the second half of the 18th century as a residence for the von Stosch family. After 1831 it passed to the von Zobeltitz family, who retained it until 1945.
The palace displays Baroque Revival features with large pilasters and semi-circular arcades that shape its facades. These architectural details reflect how wealthy families wanted to present their homes.
The building is in severely deteriorated condition and inaccessible to visitors due to safety concerns and structural collapse risks. It can only be viewed from outside at a safe distance.
East of the palace are remains of a former landscape park that show how noble families designed their estates. This park sits directly adjacent to the village church at the settlement's north-western edge.
