This swimming pool in Siemianowice Śląskie is a red-brick building with white trim that stands over a century old. Inside, it has a 25-meter lap pool for adults, a shallower pool for children, heated indoor facilities, a sauna, a gym, and rooms for massage and therapy services.
The building opened in 1908 under architect Emil Twardy's design and initially served as a bathhouse for steel workers without running water at home. In the 1950s it became a true swimming pool, and after struggles in the 1990s, it was renovated in 1995 and officially protected as a historic monument in 1997.
This place began as a public bath for factory workers who lacked bathrooms at home, serving as a gathering space for the community. Today it maintains that role, bringing residents together for water-based activities and creating a sense of shared local tradition.
