Park dworski, Manor park in Wołowiec, Kamień County, Poland
Park dworski is a listed manor park in the village of Wołowiec, Kamień County, in northwestern Poland. It features old trees with wide canopies that create shaded areas, along with open grassy spaces and simple paths that still trace the outline of the original estate grounds.
The park was laid out in the first half of the 19th century as part of a manor estate that served as the social and economic center of the surrounding area. In 1983 it was entered into the national register of monuments under number A-1367, which secured its protection going forward.
Park dworski was once part of a manor estate and today serves as a gathering spot for the people of Wołowiec. On weekends, families and older residents come here to sit outside and talk with neighbors.
The park sits in the center of the small village of Wołowiec and is easy to reach on foot from the surrounding streets. Visiting on a quiet weekday gives you more space to walk through the grounds without disturbance.
Although the manor house the park once served no longer stands, the old trees still give a sense of the original scale of the estate. Their arrangement appears to follow the pattern of the original garden layout, something a careful walker can notice along the paths.
