Kościół Świętego Antoniego Padewskiego w Jedliczu

Kościół Świętego Antoniego Padewskiego w Jedliczu, Romanesque Revival church in Jedlicze, Poland

Saint Anthony of Padua Church in Jedlicze is a Romanesque Revival brick structure with two prominent towers. The interior follows a cross-shaped layout with a single nave and a transept that accommodates multiple altars.

Construction of the current church began in 1911 and finished in 1925, following the destruction of the original wooden structure by fire in 1712. This brick building replaced the lost predecessor and has served the community since.

The church is dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua, a revered saint in the region. The devotion to this saint shapes the religious life of the community today.

The two towers are visible from a distance and help visitors locate the church within the landscape. The interior is accessible and welcoming to those wishing to explore the sacred spaces.

The facade displays a distinctive grooved figure of the Sacred Heart of Jesus carved into the brick. This religious symbol defines the church's outer identity and makes it recognizable from afar.
