Saints Cyril and Methodius Orthodox chapel in Warsaw, Orthodox chapel in Warsaw, Poland
The Saints Cyril and Methodius Orthodox chapel occupies 90 square meters on the second floor of the Center for Orthodox Culture building.
Metropolitan Sawa established this academic chapel in September 2012 at the former site of the Theological Studies chapel from the interwar period.
The chapel contains a two-row iconostasis crafted in Moscow, following Byzantine-Russian style, which was donated by Patriarch Kirill and consecrated in April 2013.
Students gather for morning prayers at 7:30 AM and evening prayers at 9:00 PM on weekdays, while Sunday Divine Liturgy starts at 9:00 AM.
Polish iconographer Grzegorz Zinkiewicz completed the chapel's polychromy work between August 2014 and June 2016, adding artistic elements to the interior.
