Ethnographic Park in Tokarnia

The Ethnographic Park covers 65 hectares, featuring traditional buildings like farmhouses, barns, windmills, and churches representing different sectors of the Kielce region.

Professor Roman Reinfuss established this outdoor museum in 1977 to preserve the architectural heritage and rural lifestyle of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.

Visitors can explore authentic workshops of rural craftsmen, including shoemakers and carpenters, while learning about traditional manufacturing techniques from the region.

Located 20 kilometers from Kielce along route 7 between Warsaw and Krakow, the museum requires at least three hours for a complete exploration.

The museum offers overnight stays in a genuine 1914 cottage, allowing guests to experience traditional Polish rural accommodations surrounded by forest landscapes.
